Moen Shower Heads to Complete your Shower Stall

Moen shower heads are the bathroom piece of choice
It might come as a surprise to many of you, but I have found that choosing shower heads is kind of fun. In fact, when you put enough importance to it, choosing any fixture for your bathroom can be fun, knowing that you have so many options out there. Moen shower heads, however, seem to be a cut above the rest, because everything in their wide range of options seems to be a good choice, and you often find yourself in the most wonderful kind of dilemma.
Sleek Comfort with Moen Handheld Shower Heads
The first decision you might have to make is whether to get a fixed shower or a handheld shower. My personal preference is the fixed shower head, because of its hands free convenience (i.e for the lazy), but I do acknowledge the benefits of handheld showers as well. Handheld shower heads allow you to get a better reach, since it features a longer hose as an extension.
If you want this kind of convenience, fixed shower heads are not for you. The disadvantage of handheld shower heads is for the clumsy, since they are more prone to being dropped and consequently broken. If you really can’t decide, Moen even lets you have both! With their combination showers, you get both a fixed shower head and a handheld shower head.
Shower Heads Moen would Like you to Try Out
You will also have to choose from different kinds of finishes, each stylish in its own way. Chrome, for example, is super sleek and is best used in bathrooms that are modern. If you are more of the romantic, traditional or vintage type however, bronze might be a more appealing choice. You can also choose these with an antique touch, like in oil rubbed bronze. The kind of finish your moen rain shower head has is mostly a matter of preference, since any kind of finish is fairly easy to maintain anyway.
One of the best things about Moen is that it is easy to find. Products of this quality are usually hard to find, but you can actually purchase Moen shower heads in most major home stores like Bed Bad & Beyond and Home Depot, and even online if you don’t have the time to actually go out and purchase it. Just make sure to be cautious in cyberspace.
Cleaning Moen Hand Held Shower Heads
Part of finding the perfect shower head is knowing how to clean it. This is where white vinegar, the wonder of all kitchen substances, comes in. White vinegar is in fact the most widely used substance in the bathroom, because it can be used to clean anything from spots on glass to grout on tiles. If you chose a handheld shower head, you can soak the thing in a mixture of white vinegar and warm water. Keep the shower head submerged for at least ten minutes, and this should loosen up any dirt that has locked itself on the holes of the shower head.
If, after soaking the shower head, there are still bits of dirt on the shower head, you can just take a soft cleaning brush or even an old toothbrush (make sure it’s an old one!) and gently scrub the shower head. If you have a wall mounted shower head, you can unscrew it and the proceed to soaking it in white vinegar and water, or you can simply lift a container filled with the cleaning mixture up to the shower head for a few minutes – or you can be creative and get someone to help you. Either way, make sure to rinse the moen dual shower heads with water after, because nobody wants to smell like vinegar after a proper shower.
