Keeping Your Walk in Shower Enclosure Clean

Clean walk in shower
The bathroom is where people can just let it all out. It’s where people revive themselves by cleaning up and pampering themselves. But as much as bathrooms are places where people can get rid of all the dirt in their bodies, bathrooms are also the best place for dirt and bacteria to accumulate.
Warm and moist, are the two favorite words of molds and mildew and this is exactly what a bathroom is. If taken for granted, a filthy bathroom can be a haven for bacteria, as well as diseases not to mention the possibility of mushrooms sprouting out of the molds that have grown in the corners of the bathroom.
There is nothing more uncomfortable than seeing a bathroom with glass walk in shower enclosures with soap residues and mold growing out of its corners. A stylish bathroom may be attractive and inviting, but what really makes a great bathing experience is a clean mold free bathroom.
Walk in bathrooms are usually built with glass alone, or framed and held together by aluminum. Since it is mostly made of glass, any accumulation of dirt will be instantly visible. People, who own the bathroom, may not notice instantly but it will definitely catch the attention of others who will use the bathroom.
For cleaning walk in shower enclosures, people can use a brush or textured sponge for scrubbing and a powdered cleanser. Although the liquid cleanser can also be good for cleaning, the powdered cleanser can help scrub off unwanted residue in the surface of the enclosure.
The first step in cleaning the enclosure of the shower is to wet the interior surface with hot water from the shower. The hot water will loosen up the residues that have accumulated on the surface. Once the interior has been covered in warm water, the next step is to scrub out the residue.
Scrubbing must take place before the water completely cools down, but make sure that it is not too hot on the skin as well. When scrubbing, pour an adequate amount of cleansing powder on the brush before scrubbing the surface. Like liquids, powdered cleansers are also most likely concentrated so an adequate amount is enough to lather on the surface.
A tip when scrubbing, the direction should first begin from the top part of the enclosure moving downward. Doing the opposite will take up so much time because the dirt coming from the top area will flow down to the already cleaned area in the bottom so it’s better to start on top.
The edges and hard to reach areas should also be given an extra scrubbing to thoroughly clean out the dirt stuck in those places. When scrubbing, the type of brush used should have bristles enough to clean the surface without having to leave scratches.
Once the enclosure has been scrubbed clean with the cleanser, the next thing to do is to wash the soap away from the surface using warm water. Drying the surface with the clean utility towel will then prevent molds from growing on moist areas.
Clean walk in shower enclosures is as good as a more expensive and stylish one. The bathroom says a lot about people using it, and a simple cleaning every now and then can make a big difference.
