Have you ever tried wearing your mum’s clothes as a kid? I did before when I was playing pretend. I wore a whole ensemble including making, jewelry, a pretty hat – the works! I walked around the house pretending to be a lady even though the sleeves of the dress were too long and the heels I wore were too big for me. Needless to say, I got scolded so bad when my mom caught me playing with her stuff, but she made up for it later on when she took me on a lot of shopping sprees as a teenager. I love my mum.

My point is you can’t go around using stuff that’s not meant for you because it won’t work the same way and perhaps you might even get the owner angry. While that holds especially true for clothes, it can also apply to other things such as bathroom paraphernalia. Why do we need to change? Can’t things just stay the same all the time so that we’d all be stuck in a moment we’re particularly happy with? I mean, don’t you just wish that sometimes? I know I do. I’d rather be reliving my college life all over again than battling single life in New York with nothing but my cat and clients. Take me back to the time when everything was a hella lot simpler and my biggest problem was just my grades.

If you do think about it, though, things may have been better now than it was before. When I was in college, I wasn’t that capable and independent. Also I had a lot of curfews and requirements to deal with, unlike now wherein I am in control of my life. I may be missing my friends, but I can always make new ones or just rekindle my connections. Having a bathroom of your own is a vastly different experience when you once just used someone else’s. Like for example, when you were younger and still living with your parents, you probably had a bathroom style or setting that you didn’t actually like.
